Argentina is very unlikely to be your route, and we would rather say so now than walk you through it.
Nationality by option runs from parent to child. Grandchildren are already expressly outside it, and a line starting further back than a grandparent is outside it by some distance.
There is one exception worth checking. If every generation between that ancestor and you was registered as an Argentine citizen, then what matters is your own parent's status rather than your ancestor's. If you know or suspect that your parent holds an Argentine DNI, tell us — it changes the answer completely.
Otherwise the only Argentine route open to you is the ordinary one: two continuous years of legal residence in Argentina, and then a citizenship application. That is a genuine option and a short residence period by international standards, but it is a move rather than an inheritance — and the procedure for it is being argued over in the Argentine courts at the moment, so we would check where it stands before you relied on it.
