This particular permit is not open to you, and the reason has nothing to do with your work.
Argentina's digital nomad permit is restricted to nationals of countries whose citizens can enter Argentina as tourists without applying for a visa first. If your passport requires a tourist visa, the nomad route is closed regardless of how well you would otherwise qualify.
That is a restriction on the shortcut, not on the country. The ordinary routes remain fully open to you, and some of them are better anyway because they actually accrue time toward citizenship, which the nomad permit does not. Depending on your circumstances that means a work permit with an Argentine employer, an investor permit, a permit based on documented regular income from abroad, or a family route if you have close Argentine relatives.
There is also a straightforward point worth checking: if you can obtain an ordinary Argentine tourist visa, you can visit while you work out which residency category fits, even though that time will not count toward anything.
