Working Holiday Visa in Australia

Not yet: working holiday visas start at 18, so you can apply from your eighteenth birthday. Prepare your passport, funds and health cover in advance.

Both schemes start at 18, with no parental consent route and no discretion. The upper limit is 30 or 35, so waiting costs you nothing.

Check which scheme your passport puts you on. On the 462, some countries need a level of education and a letter of support from your own government, which take time to arrange.
