Here is the honest answer, which is not the one this page's title implies: Brazil has no global talent visa. There is no route that lets a distinguished person move to Brazil on the strength of their own record — no points, no achievement criteria, no self-nomination. Every route in this category needs a Brazilian institution, company or body that is employing, hosting, contracting or backing you.
That is a real difference from the countries that do run talent routes, and if this is what you came for, it is better to know now.
What does exist, if you can find the counterparty: an academic or research appointment, an artistic or sporting contract, or a project of recognised relevance with a Brazilian body behind it. In each case the Brazilian side comes first and the immigration follows. So the productive work is finding the institution, not building the application.
The routes that need nobody's backing are elsewhere, and for many people in this position the remote work route is the answer — residence on proof of US$1,500 a month from foreign clients or US$18,000 in savings, which asks nothing about your profession at all. Investment starts at R$150,000 for an innovation or research business. Nationals of most South American countries have a treaty route with no requirements of this kind.
There is one thing your record does count for, but only later: once you are resident, naturalisation can be reduced from four years to one for someone commended by their professional, scientific or artistic capacity. Distinction shortens the path to citizenship; it does not open the door.
