This is the one version of losing Brazilian nationality that the reacquisition route does not reach, and we would rather be direct about it.
Reacquisition and revocation exist for people who lost nationality by acquiring another one. A naturalisation cancelled by judicial sentence is a different provision altogether — it applies where the naturalisation was obtained by fraud, or where the person acted against the constitutional order and the democratic state — and it is not undone by an application to the Ministry of Justice. The October 2023 amendment left this ground in place; what it removed was the separate ground of acquiring another nationality.
Where that leaves you depends on the judgment rather than on administrative practice, so the honest answer is that this is a matter for the court record: what the cancellation was based on, whether it is final, and what appeal or rescission routes remain against it. That is litigation, not an application form.
Anyone born in Brazil is in a different position, because a Brazilian by birth cannot have a naturalisation cancelled — there was none. If your Brazilian nationality came from birth in Brazil or from a Brazilian parent, tell us, because then this provision does not describe your case at all and the answer changes.
