Golden Visa & Citizenship by Investment in Czech Republic

The Verdict: Not eligible

Czechia has no passive golden visa and no citizenship by investment, so this route is closed to you. If a parent or grandparent was Czech, look at Citizenship by Descent; otherwise the ways in are work and running a business.

Buying property in Czechia confers no residence right. There is no bond or donation option, and no citizenship-by-investment programme has ever existed or is proposed.

The only investment route requires running a business, with at least CZK 75 million and 20 new jobs. The citizenship act gives investors no shortcut, so naturalisation still takes about ten years of residence, the B1 Czech exam and the Czech Life and Institutions test.

If any parent or grandparent was a Czech or Czechoslovak citizen, our Citizenship by Descent quiz may have much better news, because that route needs no residence. Our Skilled Migration quiz covers the work routes.
