The Verdict: Clear Path
The intra-company transfer card is your permit, and your employer carries most of the process. Ask your mobility team to start the application and confirm how long the card will run.
It covers managers, specialists and trainees moved to a Czech entity of the same group, and skips the vacancy registration the employee card needs because your sending employment continues. A separate card covers people who already hold another EU state's transfer permit.
If you may stay, protect the count: permanent residence needs five years of continuous temporary residence, and assignments that end and restart can break it. Citizenship follows five years after permanent residence, with the B1 Czech exam. If the assignment becomes local employment, you move to an employee card or blue card.
