Gross means before tax and social contributions; your offer letter or contract states it. Count only guaranteed pay, not bonuses. The thresholds were reset in 2025: €59,373 for the EU Blue Card, and €39,582 for the talent card for qualified employees. Below them, the employer needs a work authorisation.
