Working Holiday Visa in Ireland

The Verdict: Not eligible

Ireland has no working holiday agreement with your country, so there is no authorisation to apply for. EU, EEA, Swiss and UK citizens do not need one; others should look at an employment permit or descent.

The ten agreements are with Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan and the United States.

EU, EEA and Swiss citizens already have the right to live and work in Ireland, and British citizens have it under the Common Travel Area.

For others, an employment permit is the main route, starting with an Irish employer's job offer. A parent or grandparent born on the island of Ireland would outrank all of it, giving citizenship or a right to register.
