Did anyone in your Italian line become a citizen of another country — and if so, was it before or after their child in that line was born?

Until 15 August 1992 an Italian who took another nationality lost Italian citizenship at that moment, so a child born afterwards was never Italian and the line stops there. Naturalising after that child was born is usually survivable — but not always, and there is one more question underneath it that we will ask you if that is your answer. Go by the date on the naturalisation certificate rather than the date they first applied: the gap between the two often runs five years or more.
