Skilled Migration in Japan

Japan issues work statuses only after a job offer, so your next step is finding one, unless you qualify for J-Find. Check whether your university is top 100 in two of the QS, THE and ARWU rankings.

J-Find gives graduates of such universities, within five years of graduating, one year plus one more to job-hunt in Japan, with about ¥200,000 in funds. Our Golden Visa route for Japan covers it.

Otherwise, employers in technology, engineering and English-language roles recruit internationally. The Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services status needs a degree in a field related to the job, or ten years' experience in it, plus a job offer.
