Working Holiday Visa in Mexico

The Verdict: Not eligible

We know of no Mexican working holiday arrangement with your country, so this route is closed to you. Look at skilled migration, digital nomad or study instead, or confirm with the Mexican embassy in your country.

Mexico runs working holidays through separate agreements with individual countries, and there is no general version.

Mexico's other routes have no age limit or nationality list. A job offer from an employer registered with the immigration institute has no salary threshold, occupation list or labour market test. Foreign income or savings support residence on economic solvency, and a business you run supports the investor route. Studying in Mexico carries its own residence, with some work allowed at university level.

And if a parent or grandparent was born in Mexico, you may be Mexican already and need no visa at all.
