Morocco has no job-seeker visa and no points-based route. The residence card follows an approved employment contract.

Employers recruit foreigners most easily for specialist and senior roles, because they must first show ANAPEC that no suitable Moroccan candidate is available. Spouses of Moroccans, people born in Morocco, recognised refugees, and nationals of Algeria, Senegal and Tunisia are exempt from that test, and French nationals aged 18 to 35 can use a young professionals agreement.
