Exceptional Talent in New Zealand

The talent visa closes at 55, so it is not open to you whatever your standing. If you have a specific engagement in New Zealand, ask the organisation which work visa it uses for visiting artists or coaches.

The Accredited Employer Work Visa has no age limit and lets you work for up to five years with an offer from an accredited employer. It will not lead to skilled residence, which also closes at 55.

For residence, Active Investor Plus has no age limit and starts at NZ$5 million. A partner who is a New Zealand citizen or resident opens residence after twelve months of living together.

Specific purpose work visas and entertainer arrangements also exist for defined engagements, tours and seasons.
