Working Holiday Visa in New Zealand

The Verdict: Not eligible

Every working holiday scheme closes by 35, so this route is not open to you. Look at the Accredited Employer Work Visa instead, through the skilled migration quiz.

The highest limit is 35, for nine countries; most schemes stop at 30. There is no discretion.

The Accredited Employer Work Visa has no age limit. It needs an offer of at least 30 hours a week from an accredited employer, an approved job check, and two years of relevant experience or a level 4 qualification. It runs for up to five years and can lead to residence.

For a shorter stay, a visitor visa allows up to nine months in eighteen and permits remote work for employers and clients outside New Zealand.
