Is your occupation on South Africa's critical skills list?
The list in force was published in the Government Gazette on 2 August 2022 (No. 47182, Notice 2334). Match your work against the occupation descriptions, not your job title, because they often differ. Since October 2024 a listed occupation scores all 100 points a work visa needs.
