You are on a five-year clock rather than the ten years most applicants face.
Spanish law halves the residence requirement for people who have been granted refugee status. It is the only one of the reduced periods that turns on your status in Spain rather than on your nationality of origin or your family, and it applies from the residence you hold as a recognised refugee.
The usual conditions still apply: the five years must be legal, continuous and immediately before you apply, and you will need the CCSE civics test plus DELE A2 unless you are a national of a country where Spanish is an official language.
One part of the process is handled differently for you, and it is worth raising with whoever helps you file. Applicants are normally asked for a criminal record certificate from their country of origin, and for a recognised refugee that is often impossible and sometimes dangerous to request. There is established practice for dealing with this, and it should not be treated as a barrier — but it does need to be addressed in the application rather than left as a gap.
If your protection status is subsidiary protection rather than refugee status, the five-year rule may not apply to you in the same way, and that distinction is worth confirming before you count on the shorter period.
