Spain shortens the ten-year residence requirement for several groups, and the reductions are large — down to two years, and in some cases to one. If more than one of these applies to you, choose the first one on the list that does, because they are ordered from the shortest wait to the longest. Nationality of origin means the nationality you held at birth, not one you acquired later.
