You are past the age limit for your country's agreement, which is applied strictly. Look at Spain's routes with no age limit, such as the digital nomad visa or skilled work.
The limit is 30 for Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Argentina, and 35 for Canada, tested on the day you apply. If you also hold a Canadian passport and are 35 or under, take the quiz again with it.
If you work remotely for employers outside Spain, the digital nomad visa suits you; a Spanish job offer opens the skilled routes; savings or passive income open the non-lucrative visa. Time on any of them counts towards naturalisation: ten years for most people, two for nationals of Latin American countries, Andorra, Portugal, the Philippines and Equatorial Guinea.
