Which of your parents held Thai nationality at the time you were born?
The timing matters more than it looks. Thai nationality passes at the moment of birth, so what counts is your parent's status on that day - not whether they hold Thai documents now. Someone born to a Thai parent is Thai automatically from birth even if nobody ever registered it, so a parent with no Thai papers may still have been Thai when you were born.
