The Verdict: Not eligible
Thailand's remote-work visas only cover income from outside Thailand, so they are closed to you. Working for a Thai employer or Thai clients needs a work permit: see our skilled migration quiz.
Working in Thailand without a permit carries fines, prison and deportation, whatever other visa you hold.
A work permit is sponsored by the employer. An ordinary company needs THB 2 million of paid-up capital and four Thai staff for each foreign worker; Board of Investment promoted companies are exempt. Check your job against the restricted occupations list too.
Unlike the remote routes, employment leads somewhere: three years of extensions opens permanent residence, and five years of that opens naturalisation.
