Military & National Service in United Kingdom

The Verdict: Need More Info

As the partner of someone serving in HM Forces you can usually live in the UK with them, but the route depends on their status. Find out whether your partner is British or settled, or a non-British serving member, then apply on that basis.

If your partner is British or settled, you apply on the partner route, with its financial and English requirements.

If your partner is a non-British serving member, the armed forces rules let a partner and children join them, and settle alongside them once they settle after four years' service.

Relationships must be genuine and you must intend to live together. Armed forces welfare services can help with the paperwork.
