Working Holiday Visa in United Kingdom

You can use this scheme once you turn 18, provided your nationality is on it. Check the list below now so you can plan for it.

You must be at least 18 when the visa starts. The scheme then stays open until you turn 31, or 36 for Australian, Canadian, New Zealand and South Korean nationals, tested on the day you apply.

The scheme covers Australia, Canada, New Zealand, South Korea, Andorra, Iceland, Japan, Monaco, San Marino and Uruguay, plus British overseas citizens, British overseas territories citizens and British nationals (overseas). Hong Kong, Taiwan and India are on it by ballot only, and India also requires a bachelor's degree.
