This visa is for people with an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement who are still prominent in their field. It is assessed on external evidence — awards, citations, invitations, coverage — rather than on seniority.
Internationally — awards, citations, international invitations, national representation, or coverage beyond my own market → I am well established at home, but my work has not really travelled → I am early in my career, or strong but not exceptional → I'm not sure how I would be judged against that →
