Skilled means managerial, professional, technical or trades work: TEER 0 to 3 in Canada’s National Occupational Classification. It is decided by the duties you performed, not your job title, so look up your occupation in the NOC on Canada.ca and compare its main duties with yours. A year means full-time, or the same hours part-time. If more than one answer fits, choose the first that does.
