Marriage in Thailand

A marriage extension rests on the marriage and will not be renewed once it ends.

If you already gained Thai nationality through the marriage, divorce does not take it away. Section 16 allows revocation only for false statements, acts against state security, or acts against public order.

Any children you had with your Thai former spouse are Thai from birth, wherever they were born.
