Naturalisation counts time you spent here with your situation regularised — under a visa, a permit or another authorisation. What counts is broader than people expect: a student permit counts, and so does a remote-work or investment permit. What does not count is time with no title at all, and, since May 2026, time spent waiting for a title to be issued.
